Here at The Training Rooms…

We are passionate about helping people develop towards their potential. We setup the first personal training studio in a small unit on Monument Park in 2012 after becoming frustrated by the limitations of working within a large members only gym. There was a one box solution rolled out across their estate and members were shoe horned into the standard pathways of development. Although this works for mass market I believed that we could do better… everyone’s journey is personal and wanted the freedom to help them along their pathway.

With an emphasis on being ‘fit for your function’ we work on getting people ready for life’s challenges both at our TTR venues and ­your workplace or home. My biggest challenges are trying to ride my bikes faster for longer and keep up with my two toddlers… but we work with people whose challenges might range from being able to walk pain free or recover from injury, right through to sport specific goals or general decorative transformation. We use kettlebells, Concept2 rowers, Olympic barbells, Keiser M3 spin bikes, battling ropes, suspension trainers and lots more tools (including body weight!) to vary the types of challenges in training sessions. Positive nutrition plays a huge role in all of our lives and is just as important as physical development so personal training clients get bespoke fuelling advise, strategies and or processes to make conscious fuel choices the norm in spite of our ever more hectic schedules.
